OMA Project
This is a video that demonstrates how the OMA project has been implemented in schools. This program incorporates music and the arts into classroom learning. It now effects 20,000 students a day. This program has students use technology to compose music, work with opera singers to design an opera (using standards and existing curriculum) and discuss science and how humidity effects a violin. This program is looking at reaching 21st Century Learners by working closely with professionals of the community and teachers to meet standards in a fun and exciting way for students. This program originated in Arizona. I would like to learn more about this program and how far reaching it has in fact become.
